Health Effects of Radio Waves and Microwaves

Just as some people in the same work environment are more resilient to airborne pollution exposures than others, some people don't experience the symptoms associated with electrical pollution as much as others. However, long-term exposure that does not lead to immediate symptoms can still result in cumulative physiological effects that may ultimately cause serious disease. Every person is...

Restless Legs Syndrome and Leg Cramps

Leg Cramps: Nocturnal leg cramps constitute a relatively common complaint in the general practice of medicine and may be very distressing to the patient. Not only is the cause obscure and the treatment relatively unsatisfactory, but even its proper medical name, systremma (anything twisted up together), is unknown to most physicians.

It is a classic example of an "autoimmune disease," a condition in which the body's immune system attacks the body's own tissue. Although rheumatoid arthritis is a systemic disease, it affects primarily the joints. The...

Although attempts to lose weight are common in the...

Holistic Science: Effective or Placebo Effect?

Some of my patients occasionally speak with their friends who happen to be allopathic doctors (orthodox medical-industrial doctors) about their medical care for chronic medical conditions (with which they had no good results until using functional medicine). These medical friends often claim in response that there is "no science" in the practice of non-allopathic health practitioners and...

Eye Conditions

Cataracts   Cataracts are clumps of protein that collect on the lens of an eye and interfere with vision. Normally, light passes through the lens (the clear tissue behind the pupil) and focuses on the retina. The retina is the light-sensitive layer of the eye that sends visual signals to the brain. A cataract occurs when the normally clear lens becomes cloudy. Most cataracts develop slowly...

Those changes indicate health challenges which must be treated for the body to remain in good health. Functional lab tests allow common conditions to be detected five years in advance, when there is still a chance to treat them with nutritional medicine.
